Step Inside

Behind a brick front on Havelock Avenue, five thousand square feet are arranged room by room, each one staged like a scene.

A velvet settee waits beneath an oil portrait. Brass lamps pool light across a map of the world. Antiques, gifts, and home decor share the stage, and nothing sits where it was not meant to. Walk slowly. The details are the point.

Meet Robert

Robert Wamsley studied art history and interior design at the University of Nebraska-Lincoln, then built a life in two worlds: designing interiors for a Lincoln firm and working in theatre, where he founded a company that is still staging shows today. Both taught him the same lesson. A room tells a story when every object is placed on purpose.

He opened Piqued Curiosities in May 2023 to bring history and design under one roof. He arranges the shop the way he would design a set: light, color, and sightlines first, then the pieces that carry the scene. The prices stay fair, because these things are meant to go home with someone.
